‘To develop a concept for a new web page which falls in-line with the current online database’s themes and logos.’
‘Patton’s Community’ is an online database, providing users with a reference point for searching and discovering charity shops, services, events and fundraising information across the UK.
Director, Ruth Patton, wanted a feature on the website that people could use to discover new and inspiring roles within the charity sector and considered a ‘voluteer board’ as an opportunity to grow the business. As such, ‘PC’ approached UCLan looking for assistance in this proposed business plan.
A Research Portfolio:
‘Existing brands/market research | existing competitor volunteer sites.’
"Vacancy uploads | consideration to CV’s/profile uploads | maintaining and operating website.’
‘Appearance and feel concept (new webpages).’
Further Brand Design:
‘ ‘Two further alternative design outcomes and final feedback.’
The student was employed on a two week basis, working closely with the School of ADF team and PC to undertake thorough brand and market research. Rochelle worked extensively on logo, marketing banners and application designs, which gave her the opportunity to utilise her design knowledge and helped her to develop an understanding of business operations.
